Success. Today, after eating half of my sandwich, I was able to stop, think about how hungry I was and was decide, "No, I'm not hungry anymore. I'm satisfied." I was able to put the other half of my very delicious Turkey Bruschetta on Ciabatta Sandwich from NOONERZ away.
I have a goal in mind and I see the finish line... it's a little far at the moment but slow and steady wins the race. I am pacing myself to better shape my outlook and my motivation to get to my goal. I can see it, I can accomplish it!

Day 2: Please Pass the Yogurt
With 230 calories per serving and cultures, you can't go wrong. I stopped drinking milk a long time ago. Truth is, I couldn't drink it without (delicious) chocolate quick. I would be quite generous with the added spoonfuls, too. Well, since I don't drink it, I have to substitute. Yogurt is a great way to substitute dairy. I woke up with a rumble of hunger this morning (probably caused by the very high in protein but light in calorie dinner I had last night). This morning, I am shutting my hungry stomach up with Strawberry Low Fat Yogurt. One serving is 5 points but, in reality, it's a healthy 5 points, a filling 5 points... a satisfying 5 points.
Tomato soup for lunch; and for dinner, one roll of sushi... spicy tuna with albacore. Keeping it light and healthy. :o) If time allows tonight, I will also take a stroll around my neighborhood, whether in tennis shoes or rollerblades. :o)

Day 1: Watermelon Daze
I'm snacking on watermelon squares and really, when I am eating whatever junk is easy to get a hold of, I tend to forget how delicious mother earth's natural recipes are. Watermelons are especially good for you if you are on a lifestyle plan (Let's not call it a diet. A diet is something you do temporarily without really wanting to.). The beauty in watermelon is that not only does it have a natural sweetness, but it is mostly water so you can eat as much as it takes for you to feel satisfied! We can't do that with junk food... and the guilt that comes with junk food... well, that is a whole new topic.

Weight Loss: This time I MEAN IT!
Nobody hates rude awakenings more than I do - and unfortunately, this one was not as simple as literally being woken up from a simple dream... no, this was far worse...
This rude awakening from reality was brought by that young, hard bodied, tan girl in the green bikini laying across the pool from me, my family and my fiance. With every sway of her hair and her every re-adjustment I swear I could feel my pasty thighs enlarge by inches.
Trying to have fun while worrying about how much I don't look like that is NO fun for me. The simple fact is, I know what to do about it but knowing and doing are two COMPLETELY different things. Point to self being: GET OFF THE COUCH MOVE!
Today, I begin my new lifestyle... my new life. I am going to mold my body by doing the dreaded... eating healthy and working out.
Let the fun begin...
